Beacon
Debt Advice Centre is a project
of Portsdown Community Church, based on
Christian values and principles and is freely available to all in the
Havant Borough area.
The team of volunteers currently comprises three advisors and
two administrators, who each give up to 3 hours
per week of their time.

What we offer . . .
Advice that is:
FREE
- there are no charges for anything that we do.
AVAILABLE
- to all who may benefit, regardless of age, ethnic background, beliefs
or sexual orientation.
CONFIDENTIAL
- none of your details will be made available to anyone
outside
the service or to any organisation without your prior permission.
NON-JUDGEMENTAL
- we will not pass judgement on the reasons you got into
debt.
Our purpose is to stand with you and help you cope with the situation
and eventually for you to take over all responsibility.
COMPETENT
- all advisors have been trained to deal quickly and efficiently with
debt and creditors.
RESPECTFUL
- of your right to make your
own decisions.
ON-GOING
- support after repayment agreements have been made with creditors to
bring you to a place of independent financial management.

Beacon
Debt Advice?
Contact us at any
time and leave a message. Messages are
picked up regularly by our trained volunteers and we will call you back
as soon as possible. Your call will be treated in complete
confidence.
